Words of support and encouragement sent to Ben via this site, over the course of the expedition.

# Good Luck!

I spent a couple of months underneath the Polar Ice as part of a US Navy Under Ice Expedition in the 1970's. My few hours on the surface at the North Pole convinced me that life onboard a submarine actually DID have a lot to offer (such as HEAT)! Be careful and good luck!

# Those who dare...

Only a few men dare, and those who dare remain in history. Best of luck of to you Ben, desire will push you foward. Strenght comes from within. I wish someday I could too be daring and try something that tests my limits. Best of Luck

# Oh Man!

Wow, I must say, this is quite an endeavor that certainly deserves many words of encouragement. I know that it has been said already, but I wish you only the best of luck on your trek across the North Atlantic. I am a UCLA college student who stumbled upon this site by accident, and I have been glued to my computer for the last hour. I am very much looking forward to following your progress day by day. It will be so amazing to think that while I am in sunny Los Angeles, you will be risking your life thousands of miles north. I offer you my most sincere admiration will be daily sending “good thoughts” your way. I look forward to observing your progress and Godspeed!

# Best of Luck

dammm...
Well Ben, I must say that it takes a hugh amount of courage and bravery for someone to do something like this. I wish you all the courage in the world to accomplish this, and remember no matter what happens, just keep going, it will be over before you know it. We are all with you.

Ben, Hope all's well. Good luck and God's speed! The hairy film crew are back with stories of just how cold it was but raved about the quality of the food! Dan is dining out on how you saved his frostbitten nose! All the best Roger
